I choose a daily photo from something I shot that day or from a shoot I'm editing that day. I select a particular photo for 1 of 3 reasons. It's something different that I like, I think it's a stunning photo, or the image makes me smile big smiles!
May 29th -- I've been spending the week with Miss Monique at the Art of Dance school. What a cool experience this has been. The project isn't over, we've done 3 nights 1 to go. I've never done studio photography, other than a training session with my mentor, and playing in my house...so this was a new challenge to say the least. I spent over a grand buying lights with all the gadgets and backdrops But working with the lights and backdrops was nothing --- the true challenge is getting seven 2 year olds to look at you at the same time -- 2 cried so much that you would think I was about to vaccinate them.. I took this project on just because it fell in my lap and I figured I'd give it a shot, and between you and I it gave me an excuse to buy all the lighting equipment I'd been eyeballing for months. I'll take a minute to also give a shout out to B&H Photo, the guys there helped me get everything I needed, and considering I knew nothing they were amazing. This picture is just one I snapped as we were trying to get them to cooperate. Maybe tomorrow I'll share one of the many beautiful girls I captured.
